London Lions Put 100 Points Past Newcastle Eagles for Composed 31-Point Victory. Player of the Game, Mo Soluade, Was Perfect From the Floor, Shooting 3 of 3 from Long-Range Whilst Collecting 5 Steals.
During an evening in which the London Lions and City Harvest London celebrated the launch of the ‘EQUALS’ initiative, the capital city heroes paced the Newcastle Eagles 100-69 in front of their home faithful.
Player of the game, Mo Soluade, had a perfect night of shooting, knocking down all three of his 3-point shots and his mid-range bucket en route to 13 points. The 2-way specialist also gave the Newcastle Eagles’ offence problems collecting a game-leading five steals, which he complimented with two assists.
Vojtech Hruban led the bench mob with 19 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. The skilled shooter knocked down three 3-point shots and five of nine of his two-point attempts.
Combo guard Luke Nelson helped pick apart the Eagles' defence erupting for 17 points and shooting 63% from the floor. The pick-and-roll extraordinaire didn’t stop there, dishing out three assists, collecting one steal and one rebound.
