The events of last night’s home EuroCup game against Bursa Uludag Basketball were both unfortunate and disheartening for the players and fans that attended. For every game hosted and attended - especially international - there is a huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure we can deliver the best, most efficient experience for players and fans.
We would like to reiterate that none of these events were as a result of the players or our staff.
We as a club can only control the logistics and outcomes for our team, and as such, items that fall out of this remit are simply not within our jurisdiction to fix. As a result, last night’s events are extremely disheartening for all involved, most of all the dedicated fans who were in attendance. We extend our apologies to all those affected, and as a means to try and ensure all is not lost, visitors to yesterday’s game will have free entry to the next London Lions Women’s EuroCup Round of 16 game on the 18th January.
