Commonwealth Roundup

Two of our players were in Commonwealth 3x3action this summer for their respective countries, this is how they got on

Shanice Beckford-Norton – Our women’s captain Shanice played an integral role in her side clinching the silver medal. The England Women’s team looked to be heading for the win before a shot with 10-seconds to go edged it for the Australian side.

Kennedy Leonard – It was another great show out for the 2022 Play-off MVP as she helped Scotland reach the quarter finals. Labelled as underdogs for the tournament – we would like to congratulate Scotland Women for their great performances.

Everyone at the London Lions would like to congratulate our stars as well as all who gave us a great show at the Commonwealth Games.
