The London Lions are excited to announce the signing of 28-year-old American forward, Donte Grantham.
The Clemson University graduate commenced his professional career with the Oklahoma City Thunder G-League team, OKC Blue, where he averaged 10.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1 steal shooting a team-leading 40.0 percent from three-point range, earning a Two-Way NBA contract in December of 2018 by the Thunder. Donte appeared in 3 regular season games.
Donte went on to join the Los Angeles Clippers G-League affiliate, Agua Caliente Clippers where he averaged 10 points 7 rebounds during the 2019-20 & 2020-21 seasons.
Grantham made his debut in Europe in the 2021-2022 season, when he signed for Champagne Châlons-Reims of the French Jeep Elite League, where he started in 29 of 30 games averaging 11 points, with 5.8 rebounds on 38.0 percent from three-point range. Donte decided to return in the French LNB Pro A and sign with SLUC Nancy Basket – where he remained a consistent threat from three-point range (38%) and averaged 8.9 points and 4.8 rebounds.
The former top-100 national college prospect embraces the values instilled in him early in his life, at Hargrave Military Academy where he graduated from high-school, and brings a lot of passion, energy, and discipline ahead of the London Lions’ BBL and EuroCup campaigns.
