Basketball England Female-Only Level 2 Table Official's Course
August 22, 2023 at UEL SportsDock (10am – 4pm)
All candidates must be registered by 17/08/2023 to gain their resource.
How to register:
1. CLICK HERE to complete the registration form,
2. In the first dropdown ("I would like to sign up to the below course") please select the
"SCHOOL-COLLEGE-ACADEMY ORGANISED" option,
3. You will be then asked to enter your "Course Reference Number" which is T223/016,
4. After registration Basketball England will provide you with the access to Hive - a learning platform on which you'll be able to complete your course,
5. Make sure you complete the registration in advance as the access will be given by the end of the next working day.
All candidates will be rewarded with a ticket to
London Lions x WBBL Select vs NCAA Division 1
powerhouse Oregon Ducks game at 7:00pm on August 22nd.
Candidates will be able to put their knowledge to test during the live game.
COURSE INFORMATION
This course is for those who have completed Level 1 and/or have a good basketball knowledge, providing deeper learning of the roles of the Timer and Scorer.
Level 2 Table Officials can be deployed to local league, junior NBL and even senior NBL competitions up to WNBL Division One and NBL Division Two alongside Level 3 colleagues.
- Expected duration: 6 hours.
- Pre-requisite: Good basketball knowledge and/or Level 1 Table Official
- Recommended minimum age: 16 years. (14/15 can be considered if experience level 1)
Learner Requirements:
- Learner to complete online modules during the classroom session or in their own time.
- Learner to complete examination.
- Learner to complete 4 regulation games under assessment.
