The London Lions are deeply saddened to announce that our beloved Coach Andrea has passed away.
Andrea is an adored daughter, sister, teammate and friend, and has been at the heart and soul of basketball in London for over 30 years.
Her loss is devastating, and as her family, friends and teammates process this news, we ask that their privacy is respected.
Andrea has been with The London Lions every step of the way, and will forever be a Lion.
Women's coach, Mark Clark, said "No words can express what she did for the game and more importantly for so many individuals. Without her work a lot of people wouldn’t be where they are today. Andrea is a person who will leave a huge gap on basketball and at the Lions, a gap that is impossible to fill. She was a unique person.”
