New College Lions continued their perfect Academy Basketball League with a 105-51 win at The North School, on Wednesday.
Andre Lockhart’s team dominated throughout, hitting at least 26 points per quarter as they moved another step closer to the South East Conference title.
Against a side sitting bottom of the league, Lions never looked back after a 26-6 first period, and went into the locker room with a 53-20 lead. That advantage grew to 79-36 at the final break before Lions wrapped things up with a 26-15 fourth period.
L Bennett led the visitors with 26 points, while U Obibahre added 25 and J Philip 16.
Both Barking Abbey Academy sides were without games this week.
