During his time as Head Coach, Schmidt successfully moulded the Lions into a cohesive unit, crafting together the league’s best statistical defence, as well as manufacturing a league high 18-game win streak. The club wishes Ryan all the best with his his future endeavours.
General Manager of the London Lions men's team, Brett Burman, said -
“We would like to thank Coach Schmidt and his family for leading the Lions this season as he left a great impact on the organisation. Being able to win three titles and guide the Club to the EuroCup playoffs was a remarkable accomplishment. He helped lay the foundation and build a championship culture which we will continue to build on. We wish him and his family the best of luck in his next coaching endeavour.”
