At the age of 15, Beckford-Norton swapped Barking Abbey for the States where she attended high school and college. At the age of 21, Shanice played her final season at LSU and signed for German club, Heidelberg. In 2020, the Londoner returned home by signing with the Lions – averaging just over 14-points in her first WBBL season. The Brit has since gone on to represent her nation at Euro Basket Qualifiers whilst becoming a staple in the London Lions roster.
